Maintaining momentum and continuing to harness the power we used during the presidential election of November 3, 2020 that led to a change in the White House and Congress. The volunteers would serve as facilitators for the “Virtual Dinner & Dialogue” programs, as well as other virtual programming which includes an upcoming forum on Democracy and the Riot at the Capitol and the reveal of their civics project with DPSCD. Since the meal has already been taken care of, we as a chapter are committed to responding to their needs. Both sites have requested we consider donating: Socks Hygiene products Household cleaning products Laundry Soap Sorors, no donation is too small or too big. We appreciate your support. If you’d like to donate any of the items you can drop them off at the DSTDFI Headquarters on the following dates: Thursday, Feb. 4, from 5 – 630 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, from 5 – 630 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. To drop off items, simply pull up to the door, and a soror will receive them. The Call can be found on the National website and we encourage you to review it in its entirety. In keeping with the rich history of the Midwest Region of slating Grand Chapter Officers, Committee Chairs, and/or Committee Members, I am here for you to answer any questions that you might have about the nominating process. The National Nominating Committee has prepared an informative Call for Nominations webinar. The final live webinar will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 12 noon ET.
